Khemchand & Sons 77 is a family business located in Tenerife (Canary Islands – Spain). It
was founded by Mr. Khemchand Khisinchand.

Rajwani, born in Hong Kong while his origins are from Sindh, when this province still belonged to British India. Their family history has not been easy, since their ancestors had to leave their own country because of the conflict between Hindus and Muslims, which finally led to the Partition of India in 1947. The efforts of their grandparents and parents to overcome difficulties, has been a raw model for the new generations of the family to continue the family approach to life and business.

At the beginning, the family business was focused on small retails, developing into import/ export of textiles; while nowadays its main activity is focused on real estate and financial investments both locally, nationally and internationally. Innovation and curiosity are an essential part of the company and its members ethos, that’s how the idea of developing and supporting the making of Still Standing from the very beginning was born. With the intention of contributing to the legacy of Sindhi’s society, which we strongly believe that should be known and acknowledge worldwide, for its great history and cultural richness.

Chellaram Foundation is the initiative of Lal Chellaram, following a tradition established by his late father and grandfather to support wide spectrum of good causes. Its objective is to bring together and give impetus to various philanthropic activities under a global o or umbrella. The projects supported by Chellaram Foundation are broad-ranging and classified under the following areas: Health, Education, Children and Youth initiatives, Arts, Music and Culture, Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief, Environment, and Animal Welfare and Vegetarianism.

He was awarded the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Nod Award by the President of India in 2021 in acknowledgement of his outstanding achievement in the field of Community Service.
